Meet Alexandra Samuels
Alexandra Samuels is the Founder and Director of HeartCore Group. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Critical Care, with over 17 years of healthcare experience, including more than 12 years specialising in cardiology, coronary care, cardiothoracic and cardiac rehabilitation.
Throughout her clinical career, she has assessed and managed thousands of cardiac patients, providing firsthand insight into the progression and preventability of cardiovascular disease. This frontline experience forms the foundation of HeartCore Group’s evidence-based approach to workforce cardiovascular risk reduction.
Recognising that high-risk industries operate within demanding environments including shift work, fatigue exposure, remote conditions and high operational pressure, Alexandra established HeartCore Group to translate specialist cardiac expertise into practical, site-relevant prevention strategies aligned with existing WHS frameworks.
Alexandra also has a personal connection to the resources sector, with close family members working within the mining industry. This firsthand exposure to the operational realities of site-based work has further strengthened her commitment to protecting the long-term cardiovascular health of high-risk workforces.
Our Mission
To position cardiovascular prevention alongside fatigue management, mental health and physical hazard controls as a core component of workplace health and safety in high-risk industries.
